For the beginning in portraiture photography it could be a good idea to start working as an assistant to get to a hang with the way things work in the real world. It would give me opportunity to learn a way of dealing with clients, reacting to different situations by following the instructions from the professionals. In this job I could show my good work ethic, hard working, organization and communication skills.
Then a job of studio manager could link up from assistant job where I could meet different photographers which would be an opportunity to show my work and gain more contacts for the future. Also I could be able to show my creativity and experience from previous job.
